Business meeting of potential partners of the two countries took place with the support of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty
From 17th to 21st of August was held an official visit of the delegation of business circles of the Gomel region to Almaty. Within the program of the visit the Belarusian entrepreneurs took part in the XI international specialized exhibition of children's goods "Childhood 2016", held B2B negotiations with local clothes manufacturers, met with representatives of retail chains, visited LLP "KazLegProm-Almaty", Center of network buyers and other business activities.
During business meetings with representatives of the textile industry enterprises, the sides presented to each other samples of the finished products, they expressed their willingness to cooperate.
"Our company supplies to the market high-quality blankets, quilts, textiles. We are well established business in the CIS, we successfully export products to Europe. We are very interested in the market of Kazakhstan, we are here for the first time. We visited the enterprise "Kazlegprom-Almaty" and outlined some points of mutual trade. But most of all we are interested in Kazakhstan's wool. You have great breeds of sheep, merino. We are ready to work on the import of raw materials. Now we buy mainly Russian wool", - said the director general of the oldest enterprise of Belarus JSC "Sukno" Dmitry Kunitsky.
The meeting was attended by the employees and managers of the enterprises of light industry of the city - JSC "Semiramida", LLP "FirmKaztsentr", LLP "Mimioriki" and others.

The visit was organized on the initiative of the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Embassy of Belarus in Kazakhstan, Light Industry Association and Exhibition Company ALEXPO with the support of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty.
