Transformation from a military woman - to a business woman
A former employee of the military enlistment office decided to engage in small business
Prior to his entrepreneurial activities Zhuldyz Shaushimova worked in the capacity of the military senior assistant, head of department in military unit 3514, a clerk in the commandant's office, a manager in the National Bank.
The idea to open her business came in 2012. Zhuldyz bought an apartment, made repairs on her own and opened a grocery store "Rainbow", creating five jobs. The owner of the store works with manufacturers of Pavlodar and Semey. Thanks to its organizational skills, broad range of food products at affordable prices, shop "Rainbow" is popular among residents of the city of Kurchatov.
"Zhuldyz by nature is a kind and sympathetic person, and believes that helping to people is a sacred duty of every successful man, that’s how she was taught since childhood by her grandfather - a former imam of a mosque. Therefore, Zhuldyz Ersainovna sticks to her credo", - said the director of the branch of RCE of EKR in Kurchatov Olga Gavrilyak.
For all pensioners in the shop "Rainbow", there is 5 % discount on the purchased goods. On her own initiative Zhuldyz provides free bread daily to 20 low-income citizens. As part of the memorandum on mutual cooperation, signed between the akimat of the town and public association of businessmen of Kurchatov town, she continuously provides sponsorship assistance to the poor, children, the disabled, the elderly, giving them food packages during the holidays. On New Year's Zhuldyz organized New Year gifts for children of poor families in kindergartens "Zhuravushka", "Kunshuak" and military unit. She developed the script of the New Year program together with her team and a shop assistant dressed like a "Snow Maiden" distributed the gifts, which she purchased.
In order to improve the level of provided services, Zhuldyz Shaushimova decided to participate in the state program to support entrepreneurship and has applied for participation in the program of development of single-industry towns. On the part of the Chamber of entrepreneurs was provided free service support, a business plan has developed. Currently Zhuldyz found a new, stand-alone room and has expanded its business by opening another grocery store "Swallow", which from the first day won the trust of the inhabitants of the town thanks to friendly service and discounted prices.
Later Zhuldyz intends to further develop its business, delighting residents with new progressive methods of trade and lower commodity prices.
