Protecting business and fighting against corruption
The representatives of the branch of "Nur Otan" Party in Ualikhanovsk district, the representatives of government agencies have told the local businessmen how to protect their companies against misconduct
The participants of the meeting aimed at development of an effective mechanism to protect the rights of entrepreneurs. During the roundtable the Prosecutor of the District said that one of the most important tasks assigned to the staff of his department, is to support entrepreneurs.
In turn, the director of the branch of the Chamber of entrepreneurs Batyrkhan Akhmetov said that this year the branch office has received more than 50 complaints of entrepreneurs, about 30 of them - on legal issues, about 10 – within the line of business protection. Last year, more than 150 businessmen addressed to the branch of the Chamber, including on legal matters more than 90, 70 – within the line of business protection. They protected the interests of business in excess of 21 million tenge. The most common complaints concerned land relations, architecture and town planning (relationships with designers, inspections of SMEs), tax liabilities (installation of POS-terminals and cash register, social contributions, electronic invoices, agriculture (registration of agricultural cooperatives, compliance of charters, support to agribusiness projects ).
A week ago officials, politicians, experts and businessmen of the district discussed another current issue: how to protect business from corruption. It was decided not only to discuss the problems faced by the business community, and to take concrete measures to address them. According to the participants of the event, bribery inflicts financial damage, not only on business, but also on the whole of society and the state as a whole.
