Manufacturers of kumys intend to unite into a cooperative
This decision was made by the companies, which are engaged in the production of kumys, during the seminar "Kumys Production Technology" for the subjects of agro-industrial complex
The event took place on the basis of the farm "Zan", the participants were 27 agrarian farms, engaged in the production of kumys.
A specially invited expert - Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Dauren Sydykov told the participants about all the intricacies of the production process, technological innovations in the industry, reduction of costs, and other.
"We decided to study the technology of production of kumys at the production unit of the farm "Zan" because the head of the farm Dүsenbek Ibinaliev has fully automated for the production line. The milk on average 40 mares a day, and here in the production unit, they produce kumys. It is known that kumys shelf life is limited to 72 hours, so in this shop, in contrast to other farms, it is kept longer - up to two months. And as a result, the manufacturer can make more profit. For example, farms where there are 20 mares, make profit of 2.5-3 million tenge per season. And here profit comes to 6-7 million tenge. In addition, they can produce several kinds of kumys, so farm "Zan" produces three types of kumys. It is the only in our region economy, whose products are registered and licensed. Its product can be exported to other countries of the Customs Union ", - said Dauren Sydykov.
One of the participants - Erlan Keulimzhaev arrived specially from Astana to improve his skills.
"The holding of such workshops is of great importance for the peasants, - he said. - Today, we shared experiences, shared our opinions on the topics of lectures and practical classes. I arrived from Astana especially since I recently started doing business in this direction. I discovered a lot of new and useful things. The participants of the seminar were also experienced in this area, it is hard to find such experts in our city and region. Therefore, despite the great distance, I did not hesitate to come to Taraz. I support the initiative of the participants to establish a cooperative of kumys manufacturers. It is difficult to work on your own; the biggest problem is the market, since the number of kumys producers grows every year”.
