“Bastau” - business-educational program for villagers
In Munaily District started a pilot project on training of villagers to the basics of entrepreneurship
Villagers will be trained to the basics of business activity during a month within the walls of the business school “Bastau”.
Deputy Director on Legal Affairs of the Chamber of entrepreneurs Amirgali Zhanaev noted that the project aims to provide employment to population of Munaily District through involvement of rural people in business.
"According to statistics of the General Prosecutor's Office, the laws are usually broken by unemployed people. A person, who has no income and stays idle the whole day, is predisposed to commit various types of crimes. Therefore, providing employment at the same time solves such pressing problems of society, as poverty and crime", - said Amirgali Zhanaev.
The representative of NCE RK "Atameken" Baurzhan Orazgaliev told about the purposes and objectives of the Business School "Bastau".
"In view of the socio-economic environment and convenient geographic location, Munaily District has been chosen as a pilot project. Reduction of the oilfield service market, the need to support business initiatives in rural areas have become a prerequisite for the launch of this social initiative", - said B. Orazgaliev.
According to him, the project of practical training of villagers to entrepreneurial skills within the program of the Business School “Bastau” will be implemented also in other parts of the Mangistau and Kyzylorda regions.
Business coach of international level Meder Amatov, who has worked in 25 countries, introduced the participants of the project to the program of the business school, which designed with the focus on practical training with real support of business projects. He said that for more effective implementation of long-term training, there will be conducted testing of volunteers for the presence or absence of managerial skills and competencies for business.
"The training program takes into account the needs of people with business initiative and start-up entrepreneurs from rural areas. The course includes meetings with successful businessmen, business games, simulations of real business situations and other interactive forms of education", - said the business manager.
Deputy Director on Economic Affairs of the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs Mirlan Khusainov assured those present people that by the end of training the authors of the most successful business-projects can become participants of the concessional lending program (under 4%) of the microfinance organization "Atameken" of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Mangistau region.
The event organizers responded to the participants’ questions at the end of the presentation. Akim of Munaily District Nurlan Tazhibayev thanked all the speakers, he wished the villagers successful training with further practical realization of their business ideas.
