Industrial alpinism - without control
At NCE RK "Atameken" was held a working meeting with business entities, operating in the field of industrial alpinism
Entrepreneurs working in this field have complained on a number of issues, including administrative barriers. For example, there is no legislation regulating the activities in the field of industrial alpinism. The only regulator was the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On some issues in the field of industrial safety", dated by December 19, 2012, which, in turn, was abolished in December 2015. Thus, now the industrial alpinism in Kazakhstan, remains without any control by the state, which has a detrimental effect on the quality of work at height.
Following the meeting it was decided to create an industry association to protect their interests and improve the quality of provided services.
Also on 12th of July at the site of NCE RK "Atameken" was held an extended meeting with the participation of representatives of Industrial Development and Industrial Safety Committee MID RK, the Committee for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan and other representatives of the interested state bodies and business representatives.
