The first negotiations
Heads of agricultural cooperatives of the region held talks with retail chains "Alma Market” and “Magnum Cash & Carry”
This was announced at a meeting of entrepreneurs and leadership of Almaty malls (shopping centers). The negotiations took place thanks to the tripartite agreement of intent for cooperation between retail chains of Almaty, agricultural cooperatives of the region and NCE RK "Atameken" at the interregional meeting on the development of direct sales of agricultural systems based on agricultural cooperation, which was held on 27th of April in Almaty.
Previously, farmers met with representatives of retail chains “Metro”, “Ramstore” and “Carrefour”. At the meeting, supermarkets have expressed interest in the purchase of meat, vegetables and fruit. During the negotiations with the leadership of "Alma Market” and “Magnum Cash & Carry” were also discussed issues of mutual cooperation. As it became known, commercial networks have already sent to agricultural cooperatives the order of requirements and rules for approval of the contract. According to Deputy Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs for Economic Affairs Aset Shayakhmetov, the first step of cooperation and dialogue between the malls and cooperatives was held.
"The main thing is that the parties are willing to cooperate. Now, most importantly, to agricultural cooperatives products meet the quality requirements. It should be noted that some supermarkets have their own laboratory and can perform an examination. Currently, three agricultural cooperatives started detailed negotiations with retail chains", - added A. Shayakhmetov.
