In Pavlodar was held the final of the national championship in solving business cases "Kemel kasіpker"

The event was organized by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan “Atameken”, Almaty Management University and Public Foundation “SANA Eurasia” (supported by Pavlodar state university named after S. Toraigyrov, SKSU named after Auezov)

Four teams from Astana, Almaty, Shymkent and Pavlodar took part the final of the competition.

Business cases - a kind of business game, in which can participate high school students and young people under 30 years, who dream about their own business.

Participants are invited to solve a problematic situation in any of the companies and those using their knowledge, analytical and creative abilities, have to offer the most effective solutions to the problem.

In the finals all the teams tried to increase the effectiveness of a real enterprise - one of the poultry farms in Kazakhstan. Each team presented to the jury's own presentation of the project. A jury, by the way, included people not just competent, but able to appreciate the proposed projects. The commission consisted of successful entrepreneurs, such as a member of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Pavlodar region, director of LLP "Building Center Domostroy" Serik Mukushev, the acting executive director of the Association of the international scholarships of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Bolashak" Azamat Bozhakov, chairman of the Foundation “SANA Eurasia” Nurlan Dosumanov, director of the Department of Human Capital Development of NCE "Atameken" Olzhas Ordabaev.

Ust-Kamenogorsk Poultry factory was presented as a business object for teams – it is quite a successful and stable enterprise. However, the students had to identify the possible shortcomings of the proposed development strategy, finding all sorts of ways to increase production, to find ways to strengthen the competitiveness of the factory in the market, increase sales. And the teams succeeded. Projects, which have been submitted by them, have made an impression on the judges, who put various issues, such as whether the future owners are going to do something with bird feathers and what they intend to do with litter, waste disposal of which can be a real problem. Students found application for everything: fluff can be used in the production of pillows and litter can be used as a fertilizer. Such fertilizers will certainly be in huge demand in any agricultural region of the country among gardeners.

Surely, the judges had a hard time. However, the winners were finally identified. First place was given to the team "Elite" KazSLU, second place - team of Almaty Management University. Team of PSU - "Dostar" received the award "Most Creative Team" and students of SKSU got the prize "For the will to win".

The author and initiator of the project Kozhataev Diaz explained that during the evaluation of teams special focus was made on such qualities as originality, its relevance and feasibility. So it is possible that the proposal for development of the enterprise made by the students will find actually application among the existing poultry farms, and maybe they will introduced by a budding entrepreneur or contestants themselves. In addition, the judges evaluated the information content of speech and the ability of participants to work in a team. These games help develop analytical skills and leadership qualities. Certainly, for the participants this experience will be useful in the near future, when each of them start an independent life, become a member of an already established team, or will start his own business.
