Map will tell everything
The international investment forum “Ontustik Invest-2016” was held in Shymkent, where was presented the regional map of development
Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" Nurzhan Altaev, who introduced it, outlined the main tasks of the Map - definition of the investment potential of the enterprises of industrial complex in the view of industrial specialization, the raw material orientation of regions, the availability of infrastructure and other factors.
The Map contains detailed information about the geographical location of business, resource, labor. It is publicly available online at the web-site of NCE RK "Atameken".
Developers of the map - NCE RK "Atameken", together with a group of experts and research centers, working on its drawing for a year, tried to take into account all the nuances of each region.
"This is a single map of 14 regions and two cities of republican status, which will be available to all and includes a complete and analytical overview of the economic data of each region. It shows a diagram of each area with the analysis of all the factors, affecting the development of the economy - natural and mineral resources, logistics, markets, existing barriers, up to energy capacity, diagrams of connection to the grid, what large, medium or a small businesses operate in the area", - said Nurzhan Altaev.
Relatively speaking, the map is a valid portal. Any domestic or foreign entrepreneur, who has expressed intention to invest in the economy of Kazakhstan will receive a comprehensive visual information on a particular region.
"It is important for entrepreneurs to know in what to invest and what direction to develop in a particular region, the main indicators of the region, revealing its potential, infrastructure, human capital, access to finance, markets and so on", - said the deputy chairman of NCE RK "Atameken" .
Thus, for regional entrepreneurs the map will serve as a guide (navigator) for the business, which it will greatly facilitate business operation in the future in our area, it will help many people to develop their business.
The map is useful for state agencies. It helps to understand what hinders more active development of entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan, what steps need to be taken in the short and medium term in order to strengthen the process of enterprise development. For local executive bodies a map should serve as a guide for planning budget spending aimed at infrastructure, social facilities, landscaping and the provision of government support. It will be useful for Akimats in terms of attraction of foreign investors.
The map can be useful in financing of various projects for STB and development institutes.
"The map will create a co-operation between enterprises of the regions in procurement of goods, works and services, as well as raw materials, it will provide the possibility of cooperation of large companies with small entities", - said Nurzhan Altaev.
