Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan opened a new way for promotion of domestic products at the Tajik market

Grain from Akmola, flour and pasta from Aktobe, rice from Kyzylorda, candies from Kostanai, cement from Taraz will be exported to Tajikistan. These are the first results of trade and economic mission of the domestic business to Dushanbe, which was organized by the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan.

"Tajik businessmen have shown great interest in local companies. As a result of business negotiations, a number of Kazakhstani companies - LLP "Novoaldzhansky Flour", LLP "Agder", JSC "Yntymak" and LLP "Nur Kas LTD" found direct buyers for their products. The total amount of the contracts is more than 4 million US dollars. The first exports are expected in April", - said the chairman of the Chamber of Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Meirbek Mazhitov.

In addition to bilateral meetings, it organized a briefing with the participation of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Tajikistan Agibay Smagulov and leadership of JSC Kazkommertsbank, within the frames of which, the members of the delegation received advice on product delivery, financial condition and state support instruments in Tajikistan.

"One pecularities of the mission was a meeting with representatives of the Tajik trade company, which is launched in Dushanbe, the largest hypermarket in the Central Asian. Domestic producers successfully presented their production to managers of the trading network and plan to conclude contracts in the near future. It's now known that the required range of products consists of 12 thousand headings. In the next few years, the company plans to open five hypermarkets and 20 supermarkets, as well as a network in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Due to its geographical location and quality of products, Kazakhstani producers have good potential for a successful promotion at the markets of Central Asia, particularly in Tajikistan. I would encourage domestic producers to step up their activities and to take part in such events ", - said the chairman of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Meirbek Mazhitov.

For the procurement of goods directly from the Kazakhstan, the company has already signed contracts with 5- transport companies, including free delivery and freight, allowing to make purchases without intermediaries.

The main objective of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan is to promote foreign trade and the development of trade and economic relations between small and medium businesses of the country.
