Kazakh exporters will supply meat to Iran
With the assistance of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan, Kazakh exporters concluded long-term sales contract for the supply of beef and mutton in the amount of 30 million US dollars.
This is the first contract between the two countries after the lifting of sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran within the framework of business visit of the Kazakh delegation to Tehran.
During the meeting of the Business Council, Kazakhstani company signed an agreement with the Iranian businessman, who expressed a great desire to bilateral partnership.
"I believe that this contract laid the beginning of a strategic partnership between the two countries. An indication of this is great interest for cooperation of the business community of Kazakhstan and Iran. I am confident that with this pace, we can improve the dynamics of trade and economic relations between our countries and to give new impetus to our partnership development. I call on the Kazakhstani businessmen to intensify its activities in the field of agriculture and food industry, as the development of these industries in Kazakhstan has a huge potential. Given the fact that today consumption of environmentally friendly products grows in the world", - concluded the chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Meirbek Mazhitov.
