On February 1, 2016, the entrepreneurs of Abai will have to resort to austerity measures

New Heat Supply Company "Abaylyk Zhylu zhuylerі" introduced tariff rates for business that are three times higher than the former ones.

Just over a week ago, the new rates have been published in the regional newspaper. According to the announcement, the order of the Department of the Committee on Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition MNE RK in Karaganda region approved the tariff for transmission, distribution and supply of thermal energy at the rate for individuals - 2214 tenge per 1 Gcal without VAT, for other consumers 5981.56 tenge per 1 Gcal. The word other implies business entities. Prior to 1st of February 2016, the cost of 1 Gcal of thermal energy for commercial customers was 2050.14 tenge, i.e. almost three times less than the new rate. Organization of the public sector will pay 30% less.

LLP "Abai heat networks" provided heating before 21st of July 2015, the founder of which was "Kazakhmys" corporation. And from 21st of July, the company created a new LLP "Abaylyk Zhylu zhuyelerі" the sole founder of which is Akimat of Abay district.

According to the director of Abay branch of the Chamber of entrepreneurs of Karaganda region of Nadezhda Peregon, Akimat is trying to reduce tariff for budgetary organizations at the expense of entrepreneurs.

"All government officials are always talking about the global economic crisis in the world and our country, so we need to cut spending budget. But the crisis, first of all, touches the small business, which before the crisis was not exactly thriving, so business must also reduce their costs, and how to reduce them? During 2015 the electricity tariff rose by 9%, the water tariff rose several times, and now the heating 3 times ", - said the head of the branch.

Currently, entrepreneurs are preparing a collective appeal to RCE and requests to the state bodies to resolve the situation.
