Kazakhstan and Russia are expanding the investment potential
The Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Pavlodar region proposed a number of measures to develop the business dialogue between the two countries during the round table "Russian-Kazakh investment dialogue: new opportunities for cooperation".
The event was held in Moscow and was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Kazakh Embassy in the Russian Federation, Trade Mission of Kazakhstan in Russian and Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs Raykhangul Satabayev , currently there were established cooperative ties between the partner countries in various sectors of the economy and the strengthening of existing business relations is a priority.
"Establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union was a powerful impetus to the implementation of favorable business initiatives for entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan and Russia. The Union involves the joint production and promotion of export of competitive industrial products, it offers a single market for services. All this contributed to the further development of business relations between our countries. Today there are more than 10 thousand of joint ventures with Russia in Kazakhstan, and more than 200 joint ventures with Belarus. And this is not the limit", - said Satabayev.
Citing examples of successful cooperation, the head of the regional Chamber of the Russian company Lukoil named the extraction of raw materials in Western Kazakhstan, the Russian gold and Polymetal project and Atomenergoprom - Karatau uranium mine. Kazakh companies actively conquer the Russian market: project of the construction of the Ritz Hotel in Moscow, there are agribusiness companies in the Kursk region, petroleum organic synthesis is done in Orsk.
However, as it was noted by Raykhangul Satabayev, there is a need to establish joint projects in other regions of Kazakhstan, there is big potential and possibilities for this.
"In the future, it is important to provide for the construction of logistics centers, particularly at border regions. The unique map of business development is designed to promote this process, it is developed for every region of Kazakhstan. The map allows an entrepreneur or an investor to realize the available potential in each region, using the resource base, infrastructure, human capital, given the markets, market conditions and other factors", - said Satabayev.
For the development of exports the head of the regional Chamber urged to use more actively the Eurasian and Asian Development Banks, the Russian export hub.
In the course of the investment dialogue, there was held the presentation of priority Russian and Kazakh investment projects to potential investors and partners. Two companies - LLP NPC "Light" for production of LED lighting and related products, LLP “EMIREYT GROUP” with the project of construction of a hotel-resort complex “Garden Hall” in Ekibastuz city- presented their projects.
