The green corridor will be applied in respect of agricultural products produced in Kazakhstan

Good news come from China: China is ready to remove all barriers for export of Kazakhstan's agricultural production, while generously investing in production in our country.

Such a statement was made by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Kazakhstan Zhang Hanhuey. "We have a very large and growing demand for organic agricultural products", - said Mr. Ambassador. According to Zhang Hanhueya, China is willing to "settle the quota for the supply of Kazakhstan's agricultural production".

"We will remove all obstacles and resolve all issues that relate to quarantine to ensure an uninterrupted supply of Kazakh products to the Chinese market", - assured the Ambassador. The diplomat also assured that "we will provide a good corridor for the transportation of Kazakh agricultural products".

"At the Lianyungang port there is a terminal for export of Kazakh products. And in the future we will implement the project under the transfer of production capacity (from China to Kazakhstan), - assured Zhang Hanhuey.

According to Vice Minister of Agriculture Gulmira Isayeva, Kazakhstan and China are set to the implementation of 19 projects in the field of agriculture in excess of 1.7 billion dollars. The work in respect of nine projects has already started, which are worth in total 1.5 billion dollars.

12 projects will be located in the East Kazakhstan and Almaty regions. "In terms of logistics, these are the most important regions, as they have a common border with China. As for the cuts in the production of agricultural products, these 19 projects represent both projects of deep processing of products of animal origin, and vegetable origin", - said the vice-minister.

Beef, lamb, honey are mainly exported from Kazakhstan to China.

"We are completing negotiations with the state inspection of China on phytosanitary and veterinary requirements", - said Mr. Isaev. The visit the Chinese experts is expected soon, who are planning to hold the certification of Kazakh enterprises. After that, the export of domestic products will be possible.

In addition, new business agreements between Kazakhstan and China can be attained in the beginning of the visit to China of the Kazakh delegation headed by the Minister for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Aset Isekeshev. Representatives of Kazakhstan will take part in the 8th session of the Kazakh-Chinese Cooperation in the field of industrialization and investment, together with the State Committee for Development and Reform Commission of China.

At the meeting in Beijing will also be discussed the financing of projects, the launch of which is scheduled in 2016. This is an investment of Chinese companies in the production of high value-added, export-oriented goods: cars, trucks, vegetable oil, tomato paste, potash, various types of pipes, etc. There will also be discussed joint projects in tourism, science and innovation.
