Cash register will be introduced and can it be prevented?
RCE asks the fiscal authorities to give time to entrepreneurs to install cash registers
The Chamber of Entrepreneurs of EKR is concerned that the public authorities can take advantage of the failure of some entrepreneurs to enforce the decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was adopted on 30th of December 2015 #1129 regarding the use of cash registers with a function of data transmission.
The number of appeals and complaints of individual entrepreneurs increases.
As you know, as of 1st of January 2016 the requirement for to use of control-cash machines with the function of data transmission is introduced for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, engaged in wholesale trade of wood products, building materials and sanitary equipment, hardware, plumbing and heating equipment, computers, peripheral equipment and software, audio - visual equipment, electrical appliances, furniture, lighting equipment and other household accessories. The list also includes the services, provided by hotels, restaurants and services of food delivery, film screenings, barbershops and beauty salons.
"Entrepreneurs are not physically able to meet the requirement on time and set the cash registers that was adopted only on 30th of December 2015, and, accordingly, they have to ensure the use of cash machines as of January 1, 2016. Entrepreneurs were unreasonably deprived of the opportunity to prepare for this innovation",- said the director of RCE of EKR Igor Shatsky.
According to him, business entities engaged in wholesale or retail sale of gasoline, diesel fuel, alcoholic beverages, have been informed about the introduction of the obligation to install cash registers with data transmission function by July 1, 2015.
In addition, after the expiration of this period, in agreement with the authorities of the State Revenue, the aforementioned business entities were not subject to administrative liability for failure to comply with this requirement prior to January 1 of the current year.
The Chamber of entrepreneurs continues to hope for an agreement with the State Revenue authorities for providing a delay to ensure the application of cash registers for the aforementioned businesses until July 1, 2016 without penalty.
