Less in number but of better quality
A production cooperative "Merke onіmderi” for milk processing and production of dairy products will be opened in Merke district.
This project is just one of four throughout the country, so the attention of both local peasants and the Chamber of entrepreneurs and financial operators, who provide loans to the agricultural sector, is focused on. All of them are ready to make every effort to ensure that the project is successfully implemented.
One of the main problems today is the acquisition of elite breeds of cattle, which can produce significant amounts of milk. Just think and feel the difference: the farm "Yayla-bek", which has 120 matrices, produces only 200 liters of milk per day, whereas the farm "Bakhor", which has half of it, produces 1000 liters.
Both the farms are members of the production cooperative, but the efficiency is completely different: some have fewer cows, but more milk, in the other case the picture is quite opposite. Should we ask, whose approach is more beneficial. After all to breed unproductive cattle is more expensive: small volumes of milk at considerable cost will eventually put a heavy burden on the cost of the finished product. Can we speak about the profitability and the competitiveness? And in this case, less is better. Therefore, it will be difficult for the cooperative to survive without breeding stock in a fierce competition with the same Kyrgyz producers.
The Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs is addressing this issue, which is currently seeking the best possible opportunity of lending for the purchase of elite cattle. In addition to the compulsory basic explanation of the law "On Agricultural Cooperation", the Chamber is working to develop a financial model of the project.
The chairman of the production cooperative "Merke Onimdery" Dastan Aytulenov noted another aspect. Before you run such a large and ambitious project, you must resolve the issue of further sales of finished products. He stated this at a meeting of heads of Merke farms with the chairman of the Board of JSC "Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture" Narmukhan Sarybaev.
"If we want to raise to a new level of production of dairy products and to create a competitive company, we must also purchase the most advanced machinery and equipment - continued Dastan Aytulenov. - Nobody needs an explanation why this approach and the quality of the finished product will be much higher. The volumes will increase greatly, but with a good demand, we will be able to freely meet it. Therefore, in parallel we need to enter into supply contracts with large retail chains. The next step is to promote the product on the market through the establishment of retail outlets in the cities".
In turn Narmukhan Sarybaev said that in the near future it is planned to hold talks with leaders of trade networks and he will keep monitoring of other issues related to the implementation of the project.
"This should be a fully developed project - said the director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Zhambyl region Karlygash Aralbekova. - It is implemented on the instruction of the Head of State, and we must be as ready to implement it. It is necessary to carefully analyze the market situation, to find niches and to see a clear perspective. The financial module Developed by the Chamber provides tight control over the expenditure of each tenge on the project. And in order to make the plant more competitive and efficient, we must make every effort for the procurement of breed cattle ", - concluded Karlygash Aralbekova.
The meeting was very informative and helpful, during which were revealed various obstacles in the implementation of major projects. The different point of views were presented, there were identified new areas which need to be worked on in the short term.
