Resellers are chased out
The National Chamber of entrepreneurs have found a way to protect farmers from resellers and to feed the country from the first hands
From December of this year, in the city of Almaty it will be possible to buy agricultural products directly from farmers of Almaty region. This will allow to saturate the markets and shopping centers of the megalopolis directly, bypassing numerous resellers. This will be possible thanks to the launch of the project of a system of direct sales, initiated by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken". Some details of the pilot project were presented today at a meeting of the Government of Kazakhstan by the chairman of NCE RK "Atameken" Ablay Myrzakhmetov. He said that according to the research, conducted by specialists of "Atameken", one of the main causes of unreasonably high food prices is, in particular, the distribution system. "Atameken" offers to improve the situation with the help of a comprehensive plan for development of the food industry, which has already been approved by the Government. "I think we have to go back (to this plan – remark of the author), we have discussed it with sales networks, this maybe not be the best situation - 50% legislative presence of domestic goods on the shelves ", - said A . Myrzakhmetov.
The head of "Atameken" said that the owners of retail chains, in turn, require a guarantee, "the rhythm, the exact delivery schedule, provision of quality goods by the manufacturers".
"I think that two-way traffic to this norm is possible. And it can be solved through cooperation of our producers", - said A. Myrzakhmetov. Moreover, "Atameken" not in words, but in fact has already started practical implementation of the cooperative project, which will work on the level of sales. In the near future will be held a presentation of the innovation, meanwhile "Atameken" calls for support and co-operation Akimats of other cities and regions. "We have developed a pilot project in Almaty region, it is the development of a system of direct marketing. It is based on the cooperation of agricultural producers by organizing procurement centers, consolidation of a pool of products and direct access to the market of Almaty", - said A. Myrzakhmetov.
In addition, the Chairman of "Atameken" said that under current conditions the state authorities need to review the methods of interaction with the business. "If we encourage the competitiveness of business, we have to give up administrative control measures and move to market. The borders are open, there are Russian, Belarusian products, so it is unlikely that domestic producers in this rigid condition will start to rise prices, because there is competition", - concluded A. Myrzakhmetov.
