Nurzhan Altaev: "Innovative companies will always be afloat"
The economy becomes stable when there is a high proportion of a small and medium-sized business in the gross domestic production,
This statement was made at the international investment forum "Yertis Invest - 2015" in Pavlodar by Deputy Chairman of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Nurzhan Altaev.
According to him, small and medium businesses should be the driver of the Kazakh economy in the current circumstances.
As it was noted by Altaev, "Atameken" supports the actions of the state bodies and the Government in the creation of barrier-free environment for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, favorable climate.
"In recent years, there was adopted a series of legislative measures, regulatory legal acts, which eliminate all kinds of barriers, permits, bureaucratic red tape, which exist on large scale. The National Chamber of entrepreneurs operates in the same direction. In all regions, there were opened 188 business service centers from the beginning of the year, which render full range of services required for the entrepreneurs", - said the deputy chairman of NCE, adding that foreign investors can also benefit services of business service centers.
Speaking on the accession to the WTO and the presence of Kazakhstan in the EAEU, Nurzhan Altaev stressed that it is a major challenge for the domestic business. Businesses, that are working to improve their efficiency and to introduce innovations, will remain afloat, and new prospective will open up for them at the markets of the Eurasian community and the WTO. "But those companies that will work in the old manner, they are unlikely to survive in such conditions. We have a certain gap between science and business. Unfortunately, science develops on its own, scientists invent "spacecrafts", that are of no relevance to business ", - said the deputy chairman of NCE.
Nurzhan Altaev said that under the National Chamber will be established the Centre for the promotion of innovation.
"This is a coordinating body, which will receive orders from all enterprises and entrepreneurs to solve the technical and technological challenges that were set for science. This will create the appropriate groups in universities, high schools of not only our country, but we also plan to involve the universities of the Russian Federation, the number of countries that are part of the Eurasian Economic Union", - said Deputy Chairman of the NCE RK "Atameken".
Another problem that face investors, when they come to our country, is the lack of information that would show all the priorities of each region.
"The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs in cooperation with the Ministry of National Economy and the Ministry of Investment and Development are working on the development of business maps for each region. This map will be a navigator for Kazakhstani entrepreneurs and foreign investors. And they will see all the prospects in each region, their infrastructural capacity", - said Nurzhan Altaev.
