The company for production of natural stone STONE DECOR needs orders

Director of the company Kymbat Arslan addressed to the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken", to talk about the troubles of the enterprise. The company, which was created 15 years ago literally brick by brick, today experiences some difficulties.

It was difficult to get orders that will certainly affect the financial position of the company. Management is forced to cut job, though a lot of money was spent on training staff.

By the way, the company employs hereditary marblers - professionals who create natural stone, without false modesty, the works of art. In their work masters use granite, marble, travertine and onyx, which were actively used in the construction of our capital (for example, they were used in the construction of the Uspensky Cathedral in Astana, the office of "KazMunaiGas", the Supreme Court, the prestigious residential complexes, the reconstruction of adjacent territory to “Astana-Baiterek”, memorial complex of the capital, etc).

"During this time, we put all our efforts in the construction of new storage facilities. Production facilities are equipped with hi-tech machines for cutting and processing stone", - says a businesswoman. Perhaps this is the distinguishing feature of the company, which uses Watrjet technology.

"Its principle is as follows: The water compressed by several thousands of atmospheres, and mixed with an abrasive is supplied to the cutting head of the machine and passing through a hole, which is one-tenth of a millimeter, forms into a thin hair diameter spray. The strength of this stream is so high that it can easily cut granite or marble. This technology allows you to create extremely complex compositions and is especially valuable for artwork, as assembled from parts or mosaic floor panels must seem monolithic, almost seamless. And besides, it frees the imagination of artists, designers, making it possible to implement all they have conceived", - said the director of the company STONE DECOR.

Today, the company supplies its products to well-known construction companies such as BI Group, Basis-A, etc. But the problem is that the company has recently small number of orders, despite the very competitive prices. Devaluation hit customers who are not in a hurry to pay for the company's products. As a result, the company loses profit, and, accordingly, have to make some sacrifices and even to cut jobs.

"I have to take orders at no profit price in order not to cut jobs. I have trained and educated them and I can’t just fire them! I have to ensure maximum orders their production. In the absence of orders I act as a supplier directly from the warehouse, which helps us stay afloat", - says Kymbat Arslan.

According to her, STONE DECOR cannot be compared with other domestic suppliers, which are not producing anything, just work with catalogs, carrying supplies from China! By the way, this circumstance was the reason for opening a representative office in China.

The company has intention to participate in the construction of the international exhibition EXPO-2017. The company is the domestic producers with CT-KZ certificates. The company has a manufacturing facility in Astana, which produces different products according to individual patterns, the quality is guaranteed.

According to Kymbat Arslan, it would be nice to organize a presentation of the company together with the assistance NCE to the competent bodies, which would increase the number of orders, participation in procurement. After all, she said, the company pays taxes, adding to the capital budget, creating jobs.

As noted the Deputy Chairman of NCE RK "Atameken" Yuliya Yakupbaeva, NCE can help with the presentation of the company in the region that will help to find new customers. According to the deputy head of NCE, there are often situations, when both producers and customers do not know about each other. This causes the last to engage in the search for goods outside the country, while the similar products are produced in Kazakhstan.

“Now NCE RK “Atameken” is working on the creation of a register of domestic producers, in which the company STONE DECOR will be included. The register of producers of building materials, which was compiled by NCE, is being already actively used by "Astana EXPO-2017". Today we started to create "Unified Register of domestic producers", which will include  all branches. In the near future at the web-site of the Center for monitoring and examination of the market (a subsidiary of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan) will appear a personal cabinet, where manufacturers will be able to enter information about themselves and the products online. Also, we have made proposals to the Government on the establishment of the center, which would accumulate all the information about all orders and large objects of the republic", - said Yuliya Yakupbaeva.
