The "Russian-Kazakh border": there are changes
Kazakh carriers were released from customs control zone
After long and difficult negotiations, the staff of FCS began to release the Kazakh carriers without customs inspections.
"We contacted the driver, who now travels to Kazakhstan from Troitsk. According to him, after lunch customs officials began to release vehicles on the wait list without any inspections. In the morning in Troitsk were 40 cars, after lunch the number has increased by 30 cars. This afternoon, when our driver was released and left Troitsk, there was still one-third of the total volume of vehicles at the customs point. However, at the present time, we are looking forward to information from other customs points", - said the managing director of the department of economic integration NCE RK "Atameken" Dana Zhunusova to palata.kz.
According to operative data of KazATO, there are no detained vehicles at the customs post in Sol-Iletsk. We also know that the situation is resolved at the customs post in Samara.
According to the drivers, after yesterday's joint briefing at the site of the Chamber, the situation has changed.
"Gradually, they began to release our cars. I think that this was preceded by a long work of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" and state authorities, involved in the resolution of the conflict. Thanks to the intervention of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken", the Ministry of Investment and Development of the RK and the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of RK, the situation changed dramatically for the better", - says the Secretary General of the International Union of Carriers "KazATO" Teodor Kaplan.
The head of the branch of the union is willing to consider all cases as "annoying troubles". He replied philosophically to the question: Who will compensate for the losses, incurred by transport companies? Saying: “If this was the only loss!”
The head of the trade association warmly thanked the leadership of NCE and the public authorities for timely intervention.
At the same time, we believe that the current situation was allowed through the joint efforts of government bodies and NCE, and we hope that a similar situation will not happen again, and the rules of the agreements reached in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC) will remain immutable.
