In Astana was held the First Congress of the Council of Business Women of NCE RK "Atameken"

The event was held with the participation of the Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the National Commission for Women Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abdykalikova Gulshara.

Let’s remind, the Council of Business Women of NCE RK "Atameken" was created in the spring of this year. Regional structures have appeared in all regions of the country. Regional branches are headed by successful business women in each region, many of whom work in the financial sector, which, in general, is quite natural. Business ladies know how to count every penny and have a very balanced approach to the creation of own business.

We should admit that currently Kazakh women are actively and successfully develop such a serious sphere as business, which is considered to be purely masculine.

This was stated by the Secretary of the State of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the National Commission for Women Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova, saying that the implementation of the New Economic Policy "Nurly Zhol – the pathway to the future", five institutional reforms, the nation's Plan “100 concrete steps” is impossible without the participation of women.

"Currently, on average 41.5% of small and medium sized businesses in the country are headed by women. From 1 086.5 thousand individual entrepreneurs 542.9 thousand are female individual entrepreneurs. In 2014, the women provided 794.5 thousand jobs, accounting for 30% of all jobs in the sector of small and medium businesses in Kazakhstan", - stated Gulshara Abdykalykova.

But perhaps these results of our businesswoman could not be achieved without the state support. As stated the Secretary of State, Kazakhstan has developed a special program for the development of women's entrepreneurship for the years 2009 – 2015, within which year after year expand forms and methods of support for women entrepreneurs.

"It is no coincidence that in the global rankings of gender equality of World Economic Forum in 2014, Kazakhstan took 43rd place, but I think we still have a great potential, and in this sense the new Council will play its role", - expressed confidence Gulshara Abdykalikova.

The Secretary of the State has put before the Council of Business Women a number of priorities to support the traditionally female types of entrepreneurial activity, widespread establishment of regional schools (clubs) of female entrepreneurship, conduction of ongoing monitoring of public services to business women, promoting women's leadership in business.

These objectives, as stated the chairman of the Council of Business Women of NCE RK "Atameken" Lyazzat Ramazanova are feasible in tune with the core mission of the Council - the union of women in the single union in order to increase their activity in the business environment.

"The Council is committed to engagement of women in business. The positive dynamics of development of small and medium-sized businesses with the participation of women - is the result of government policy, the outcome of the creation of conditions for successful business development. More women are committed to succeeding in business. In order to promote women's entrepreneurship, the states adopted separate programs. And our Council is designed, first and foremost, to ensure the effective implementation of the adopted state programs in this direction", - summed up the Chairman of the Council of Business Women of NCE RK "Atameken".

One of the main tasks of the Council is to promote the economic activity of women entrepreneurs, the development of entrepreneurship among women, increasing their competitiveness in the labor market, raising the status of "business, socially active women", the creation of new jobs for women, including the self-employed , gender equality in the business environment.

Lyazzat Ramazanova read a welcome address of the President of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Timur Kulibayev to the participants of the congress. As it was noted in the congratulatory letter of the Presidium, the basic idea of ​​the Council is the activation of women entrepreneurs in the region, their participation in the business environment, the support of initiatives of businesswoman, empowerment.

The designed logo of the Council of Business Women, consisting of a flower, which symbolizes women and fists placed in one round, which means the unity of the female community, cohesion of women.

Members of Congress also discussed the further ways of development of business partnership of women entrepreneurs both at the national and regional levels. Representatives of the regional women's councils have told about the specific problems of the region and their solutions, including the employment, social responsibility, family and demographic policy.

The outcome of the First Congress defined the strategy and the main activities of the Council for the further development of women's entrepreneurship in the country.
