About the Business Roadmap -2020 program

On the status of the BRM -2020 “Business Roadmap 2020” is a program for issuing state grants and loans, reduction of the interest payments on loans, guarantees for loans and training of entrepreneurs, aimed at supporting and developing small and medium-sized businesses in Kazakhstan.

1.Financing for business in 2016

200 billion tenge is additionally allocated from the SAPF for SMEs
7.2 billion tenge was allocated from the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan to subsidize SMEs without sectoral restrictions

2. Additional financial sources:

Subsidizing and guaranteeing PPP projects that meet the program conditions;
Subsidizing the interest rate on new microcredits without sectoral restrictions. Proposals of NCE RK "Atameken":
Review requirements for effective projects: increase of enterprise income and taxes for the production sector, increase in the number of jobs for the service sector;
Reduce the requirements for projects when infrastructure is being built in the framework of BRM-2020;
Ensure reimbursement of entrepreneurs' expenses for the provision of infrastructure on the principle of investment subsidies;
19% current subsidy rate. Set a floating rate depending on the National Bank's base rate Formula: base rate + corridor of NB + second-tier banks margin = 16%
